Thank you for helping us reach our construction goal for the ARI Global Headquarters. Now it's time to furnish it!
Thanks to your incredible support, we've been able to maintain the momentum on our Headquarters construction project, and now with all the construction funds in place we're in the final stages of build-out. The workers have begun the finishing plaster on the outside walls, and interior walls for offices, bedrooms, laundry rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms are built. All of these spaces have electrical, water, and sewer connections installed. The work is ongoing, and soon we'll be ready to furnish all of these spaces, including the new classroom and clinic spaces.
The new building will provide better-equipped classroom space, new accommodations for our volunteers, and a much-needed medical-dental clinic. Our new Headquarters will also house an art school that will support local artists and teach children and young adults the skills they need to flourish as successful artisans in their own right. This school is one of many ways ARI continues supporting the local indigenous culture at the same time helping to restore economic vibrancy and independence for the people of Maras and the Sacred Valley region.

We must not forget the depth of the need for the opportunities and services ARI is providing to Maras and the region as a whole. With virtually no opportunity to relocate to areas more abundant in resources, the villagers of Maras and nearby communities remain committed to the land they inherited. They are beautiful people who despite their challenges carry themselves regally, the proud descendants of the Inca.
The people of Maras know that thriving community is vital to thriving life, and they are already creating great outcomes for themselves and their community through ARI's programs. Please support us so we can do more for them, and together create new models for sustainable social and economic turn-around in other stressed areas of the world.

ARI joined Network for Good in 2018, and since then donations made through our NFG links in social media and online have been managed through the NFG software. We do have other channels for donations so when you go to our NFG donation page you may not see all of the Headquarters funds reflected.
